Woke up still aching, and rather tired. Guess the body is still getting used to the exercise.
Once again, I intended to cycle in to college today, but when I saw the gale outside I decided to take the girls to school in the car instead.
As soon as I got home, I jumped on Thunder [that's the road bike] with the intention of doing some laps of the Tudor Grange cycle track. Unfortunately, when I got there I realised that it was totally unlit and riding in the pitch dark at 18mph+ is rather impossible. I got back into the rush-hour traffic and wind and wobbled about on some A roads. I did a fraction over 10miles and was glad to get back in the warm!
Eating was very healthy today and I only let myself have 2 drinks tonight [while watching MIB!]
Food
Muesli with soy milk
Redbush tea with soy milk
Tuna with cucumber and celery
A satsuma
A banana
Lucy's Quorn bolognese with wholewheat pasta and a wholemeal pitta
A large bowl of natural yoghurt.
Exercise
10.1 miles in a very slow average time [rush hour traffic and traffic lights]
Booze
1 glass of red wine
1 bottle of ale
